We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Collections Specialist to join our growing team!
Salary: Up to £30,000
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Collections Specialist to join our growing team. Whether you’re a fresh graduate or building on existing experience, this is a great opportunity to learn and grow. You’ll receive hands-on training from our amazing Collections Manager and develop the skills to manage collections confidently while working closely with customers and partners.
This role plays a key part in keeping our collections operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis, while also helping us improve the way we work as we grow.
Responsibilities
- Managing outbound communications to customers via email, phone and SMS
- Supporting the prep and review of accounts being referred to our external collections partner
- Maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date records on our internal collections board
- Helping to answer account-related questions from internal teams
- Building strong working relationships with external agencies to ensure timely follow-ups
- Assisting in the implementation of new processes and providing feedback to improve them
- Following up on failed payments or broken payment arrangements
- Analysing payment trends and flagging early warning signs to the team
- Supporting internal handovers from customer support when payment issues arise
- Helping to keep collections outreach templates up to date and aligned with our tone of voice
- Making sure we stay compliant with company policies and relevant regulations
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in collections, payments, or customer support is a plus
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive attitude – you notice issues early and take initiative to solve them
- Well-organised and reliable – able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- A collaborative team player with a genuine interest in helping customers achieve the best outcomes
- Hybrid - 1 day per week in our London office - we trust you, and we're sure you'll do great work from home, and our core working hours are 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM UK time
